Greetings everyone and hope
you’ve had a good start to 2019.
Whilst the new cricket season is still a few months away,
WBCC preparations are in full swing and there are a few things we wanted to let
you know…
2019 Fixtures
All fixtures for the
new season have now been added to our website including Two Counties, NECL and
our new “Saxons” friendly team which was agreed at the AGM in October. It
promises to be an exciting season ahead and all league teams stand a strong
chance of promotion! Feel free to review the new fixtures on our website and
note all key game weekends 😊
Indoor Nets
Pre-season indoor nets will be starting up in the next few
weeks, again being held at Holmwood House School on Sundays between 5pm and
7pm. Each week the sessions will be dedicated to either our Senior or Colts
sections, with the Senior sessions being on 17th, 24th February, 24th March and 14th April. We’ll be sending around separate event
invites for these sessions shortly and would ask if you can confirm whether you
will/will not attend, so we are aware of numbers. Hope to see as many of you
there as possible.
*Short* Club Survey
Ahead of the new season we want to make sure cricket is enjoyable for
everyone at WBCC and would like to get your ideas on what we could do better.
We’ve therefore put together a short survey which is only 10 questions long and
shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes to complete. It’s also completely
anonymous so please feel free to add any ideas/comments/suggestions you like.
We would really appreciate your time completing this as it’s the first time
we’ve done this for a while. The
