Rachit has devised a fantasy cricket competition to cover the festival 6's this year. This should add to the fun on the day and is open to all to enter. Details from Rachit are shown below -

I have attached the list of players as we had available till now. I have kept the player classifications (batsman/ bowler/ all rounder) as I believe many may want to build up a strategy based on type of players (especially if every one gets to bowl one over).
If more players need to be added, I am happy to add them at a later date and we can send out a revised copy later. In this document I have taken out the squad names as they are not finalised yet.
but for your quick reference:
(i) You will be allowed WBCC pounds 5,000 to select your team of six players.
(ii) Obviously, you don’t know if your selected players will make it to the final squad – here you need to do a bit of research to make sure you select players in your squad who have been in good form recently or at least you have a fair idea how good or bad players they are.
(iii) You will have to select a team captain for your squad – the points they earn will be doubled.
(iv) Entry fees: £3 per team selected; £10 if you enter 5 teams.
(v) End of the WBCC sixes competitions half of the pot collected will be given to the person collecting the most superselector points.
(vi) Minimum pot size for the competition to go ahead is £60. If we don’t achieve the minimum pot size the money will be returned – so promote the competition amongst your friends and family. Its not compulsory that they be WBCC member.
(vii) Entries to be sent latest by 9:30am on 6th July 2013 to rachitskgupta@gmail.com and to seb.r.eaton@hsbc.com.
(viii) Payment for entries to be made by 10:00am on 6th July 2013 to either Seb or Rachit.
(ix) Scoring format and points system in the attached file.
