The AGM of the North Essex Cricket League held at Colchester Rugby Club, Mill Road, Colchester on Wednesday 26th October 2011.
Clacton C.C. and Colchester Garrison C.C. withdrew from the League. Copdock & Old Ipswichians C.C. entered a 2nd XI, and Ipswich C.C. accepted the innvitation to the Premier Division, along with Copford C.C. (to replace Clacton C.C.). Ipswich C.C. will also have a 2nd XI in Division 3. The rest of the divisions were restructured (click top image to enlarge) as announced and agreed at the 2010 AGM.
- Colchester & EE rule proposal - The league season to begin on the 2nd Saturday in April to allow clubs more flexibility in making fixtures but clubs have no compulsion to play their first fixture on this date - passed
- Cavaliers rule proposal - league to arrange divisional fixtures - defeated.
- Rayne rule proposal - Cup & Plate restructuring proposal - defeated. Cup & Plate games 40 overs with no overs carried over - passed.
- Rule 7a Cup & Plate concessions - passed
- Rule 15a Conceded matches £30 or reasonable expenses - passed with an ammendment from 48 to 36 hours notice.
- Rule 29 Online recording of scoresheets - passed
- Rule 29a Penalties for late submission of online scoresheets - defeated
- Rule 32 Umpires expenses - passed
- Rule 30 Transfer of players - passed
- Rule 35 A new ball for each innings for all divisions - defeated
- Rule 12 Club withdrawing from league - passed
League Sponsor Ben Stephens, PiriPiri, is the new League President.
