Saturday will see a West Bergholt C.C inter-club 20/20 taking place, with the normal festival not taking place this year, an alternative has been created to try and have as much cricket as possible in the shortened season.
The plan for Saturday is as follows
3 x 20/20 matches will take place, 4 teams will participate with 3 Bergholt XI’s and a ‘Coaches XI’
Teams will be selected out of all availabilities and we will ensure all teams are selected fairly and so that all teams are competitive.
You will be informed of the team you are playing in on Wednesday, please check your e-mail inbox’s for confirmation of the team you will be in.
The format for the day is as follows
First game 10am Start - Finish 12-45pm
Second Game 1pm start - Finish 3,45pm
Final- Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2 - 4.30pm
Due to Covid restrictions, we will ask teams to stay with the teams they are playing with and spectators to be seated separately from the teams.
We also suggest that you bring food with you, due to current ECB guidelines the practicalities for the club organising this would not be appropriate to having a BBQ at the current time.
During the week we will also have the following games taking place if you wish to come and spectate
Wednesday 20/20 5.30pm vs University
Thursday - All Day game vs Great Bromley 11am start
Friday vs Queens Head TBC
Saturday 20/20 inter club tournament. 10am start
Sunday WBCC Saxons vs Coggeshall 1pm Start
