Welcome to the West Bergholt Cricket Club website
West Bergholt CC plays its cricket at the beautiful Manor Ground in the heart of the village. The club has a rich heritage and it is documented that it has been in existence for some 200 years.
We are an ambitious club with first-rate facilities including a spacious clubhouse, a well-maintained cricket square and two practice Nets. We are Clubmark accredited to underline our commitment to providing a safe and secure playing environment for our many Junior members.
Our Seniors are represented on Saturdays in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship and on Sundays in the North Essex Cricket League (NECL); in addition we play on Wednesday evenings in the Colchester Trophies Evening Cricket League. During the winter period we are represented in the Braintree Indoor Cricket League and Over 40s League.
We have a thriving junior section with over 120 children playing for us. Our U15's, U14's and U13's play in the local junior cricket leagues plus we enter multiple teams into Kwik Cricket Festivals through out the summer. 2019 saw our highest number of All Stars (5-8 year olds).
